How Do You Centralize Customer Feedback from Every Tool?

Connect each tool that holds customer feedback, such as Slack, Intercom, Zendesk, or Gong, to one workspace as a native integration. Then check that data actually arrives: the connection is active, items have synced, and the first insights appear. A tool counts as connected only when its feedback shows up, not when the login succeeds.

Why Customer Feedback Ends Up Scattered

Support tickets sit in Intercom or Zendesk, requests land in Slack, and sales calls stay in Gong. Each tool holds part of the story, so nobody sees the whole picture. And when a sync quietly breaks, nobody notices until a planning meeting runs on half the data.

How Deck Pulls Every Feedback Source into One Place

Deck connects to the tools your team already uses as native integrations and runs what they send through one pipeline into insights and themes. Each integration shows its state, so you can see whether it is active or needs attention. Surveys, interviews, and in-product feedback each have their own way in, so every source ends up in one place.

How to Connect Your Feedback Tools in Deck

Run it yourself in Deck, or hand it to your AI agent. Same steps, same result.

  1. 01

    List Where Your Feedback Lives

Write down every tool that holds customer feedback and start with the one that holds the most. Slack, Intercom, Zendesk, Gong, PostHog, Notion, and Confluence connect natively. Salesforce, HubSpot, and Attio add customer data for segments.

  2. 02

Connect One Integration at a Time

An organization admin opens Settings โ†’ Integrations, picks the tool, and clicks Connect to authorize it. Check your plan first. The Free plan allows one integration, Intercom and Zendesk need Starter or higher, and CRMs need Business or higher.

  3. 03

Finish Setup for Slack, Notion, and Gong

In Slack, run /invite Deck in each feedback channel, then add the channels in Settings โ†’ Integrations โ†’ Slack. Notion only gives Deck access, so import the pages in Manage โ†’ Notion. For Gong, set the sync rules in Settings โ†’ Integrations โ†’ Gong.

  4. 04

Route Surveys, Interviews, and In-App Feedback

Survey exports go in through Manage โ†’ CSV Uploads. Interview recordings and transcripts go in through Manage โ†’ User Interviews. For feedback inside your product, install the Deck feedback widget.

  5. 05

    Confirm the Data Arrives

Open each integration in Settings โ†’ Integrations and check that it is active and syncing. Then look for its first insights in Visualize โ†’ Themes. Do not call a tool connected until its feedback shows up.

  6. 06

Write Down a Blocker and Next Step for Each Gap

If a tool is locked by your plan, needs attention, or still sends no data, note the blocker and one next step. Members who cannot connect integrations send the list to an organization admin.

Frequently Asked Questions

Only organization admins connect integrations, in Settings โ†’ Integrations. A member can list the tools and send the request to an admin. Slack also needs someone who is both a Slack admin and a Deck admin.

The Free plan allows one integration, and Linear and Jira do not use that slot. Starter allows five. Intercom and Zendesk need Starter or higher, and Salesforce, HubSpot, and Attio need Business or higher.

Check its state first. An integration that needs attention must be reconnected by an admin. Slack only syncs channels where Deck is invited and added, and Notion only imports the pages you pick in Manage โ†’ Notion.

Survey exports come in as CSV uploads, interviews through Manage โ†’ User Interviews, and in-product feedback through the Deck feedback widget. For any other tool, use the Public API with a key you create in Deck.

They connect natively, but they hold roadmap work, not customer feedback. Import them as initiatives and Projects with the Linear roadmap and Jira epic playbooks.

Yes. With Deck MCP connected, paste the prompt on this page. The agent reads each integration's state, gives you the connect link and steps, and checks that data arrives. It cannot connect a tool, add a Slack channel, or import Notion pages, and it never asks for passwords, tokens, or API keys.
