Deck Feedback Widgets for Easier Customer Feedback

Deck Feedback Widgets is now available in npm at @deck-io/feedback. A React & Node SDK for collecting in-product customer feedback and sending it into Deck.

Our aim is to make it easier for you to collect feedback, as well as adding to our mission of enabling product teams to build better product with their customer feedback.

Use built-in feedback components or a custom headless experience.
Authenticate in the browser with a publishable key.
View every submission in Manage → Widgets and keep written feedback connected to Insights, Themes, and Projects.

How to Install & Collect Feedback

Installation

To install the @deck-io/feedback package, use your package manager’s command:

npm install @deck-io/feedback

First, you need to create a publishable key to authenticate into your Deck account. This is a client-safe key you’ll use to send feedback into Deck.

Once the package is installed and the publishable key is created, add the DeckProvider to the root of your React-based app (frameworks like Next.js can also use it) and pass the key as a prop:

Collecting Feedback

To collect feedback about specific features, add either the Thumbs Up or Down feedback (for like/dislike-type of feedback) or a modal containing sentiment and a free text field:
